The Army West Point Black Knights women's basketball team is the women's basketball team that represents the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. The team currently competes in the Patriot League.

History

The Black Knights began to play in 1977. They played in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference from 1981 to 1983 and the Empire State Conference from 1984 to 1990 before joining the Patriot League in 1990.

The USA Basketball Women's Army team, known as "Army (W)," is a distinguished women's basketball team representing the United States Army. Comprising talented female athletes who are also service members, the team exemplifies discipline, teamwork, and excellence both on and off the court. They compete in various national and international tournaments, showcasing their skills, strategic prowess, and commitment to representing the U.S. Army with pride. The "Army (W)" team embodies the core values of the military—dedication, integrity, and service—while demonstrating exceptional athleticism and sportsmanship in the sport of basketball.
